Each Friday, the space opens outdoors. Warm air, low light, and a steady rotation of hip hop, funk, reggae, and jazz—leaning more rhythmic and hip hop-forward than Palm & Needle. 

Always on vinyl. Always selected to complement the room.

Step into the canopy.

The Canopy Club returns to Bar 1924 on Friday, June 5th with guest selector Pedrada and food service by Suncoast Pizza.

Built around warm nights, low lighting, and rhythm-driven selections, The Canopy Club transforms the patio into a slower-paced outdoor listening space centered on conversation, cocktails, and carefully curated sound.

Known for his eclectic and deeply intentional selections, Pedrada blends hip hop, soul, funk, reggae, jazz, and groove-forward cuts that move naturally with the atmosphere of the room — never forced, never overproduced.

Alongside the music, Suncoast Pizza returns for an evening of late-night pizza service to complement the cocktails and ambiance.

No bottle service. No velvet ropes. Just music, hospitality, cocktails, and a neighborhood crowd gathered under the canopy.

Soul Saturdays returns to Bar 1924 on Saturday, June 13 with special guest selector Imanni.

Known for her curated soul selections spanning modern releases and vintage deep cuts, Imanni brings a sound rooted in rhythm, warmth, and atmosphere — blending soul, funk, R&B, hip hop, and groove-driven selections designed to complement the room rather than compete with it.

Built around conversation, intentional pacing, and hospitality-first nightlife, Soul Saturdays offers a slower, more intimate experience centered on music discovery, properly made cocktails, and genuine connection.

No bottle service. No overcrowded dance floor. Just sound, lighting, and hospitality working together the way they should.
